1. Overview & Privacy-First Commitment

ARI Software Lab ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. Driving Test EU is designed as a Local-First, Privacy-by-Design application.

We do not require you to create an account, register with an email address, or provide any personal identity details to use the app. All of your learning progress, test scores, bookmarks, and spaced repetition data remain exclusively on your device.

2. Information We Collect and How It Is Used

A. Data Stored Locally on Your Device (On-Device Storage)

To provide the core features of the app, the following data is generated and stored locally in your device’s secure internal sandbox (via SQLite database and local preferences):

Study Progress & Spaced Repetition (SRS) Data: Questions answered, correct/incorrect history, topic mastery scores, and scheduled review dates calculated by the SuperMemo-2 (SM-2) algorithm.

Mock Exam History: Practice exam scores, time taken per exam, flagged questions, and pass/fail results.

App Preferences: Selected country/jurisdiction (UK, Germany, France), interface language, theme mode (Dark/Light), daily question goal, target exam date, and accessibility options (e.g., OpenDyslexic mode).

Important: This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third-party analytics servers.

B. In-App Purchases & Payment Information

When you purchase Driving Test EU Pro (Lifetime, Monthly, or Bundle):

All financial transactions are processed directly and securely by the Google Play Store (Google LLC) or the Apple App Store (Apple Inc.).

We do not collect, process, or store your credit card numbers, banking information, or billing address.

The app only receives an anonymous purchase confirmation token from the store platform to unlock your Pro features.

3. Information We DO NOT Collect

We DO NOT collect your name, phone number, physical address, or email address.

We DO NOT track your precise or approximate GPS location.

We DO NOT access your camera, microphone, photo gallery, contacts, or file system outside the app's isolated sandbox.

We DO NOT sell, rent, trade, or monetize your data with advertising networks, data brokers, or third parties.

We DO NOT use third-party behavioral tracking or advertising SDKs.

4. Legal Disclaimers Regarding Government & Official Testing Agencies

Driving Test EU is an independent educational training tool developed by ARI Software Lab.

This app is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) in the UK, the TÜV / DEKRA / Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) in Germany, or the Délégation à la Sécurité Routière (DSR) in France.

Questions, simulations, and study materials are designed for revision purposes to help users prepare for official theory examinations.

5. Compliance with EU & UK GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and UK GDPR, users within the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom have the following rights:

Right of Access & Portability: All your data is stored locally in standard SQLite database tables on your device.

Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten): You have full control over your data. You can delete all your progress, history, and settings at any time by clearing the app's cache/data in your Android/iOS settings or by uninstalling the application.

Data Minimization: We adhere strictly to Article 5(1)(c) of the GDPR by collecting only the absolute minimum data required for the app to function.

6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)

Our application is safe for all audiences and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, the app complies fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and EU GDPR-K standards.

7. Security of Your Data

Because all learning data is stored locally on your device, its security is protected by your operating system’s built-in sandbox security, device encryption, and biometric/passcode lock mechanisms.

9.Advertising and Google AdMob.

Gaan music player uses Google AdMob to display ads to free users

AdMob may process device advertising ID, device information, approximate location derived from IP, and ad interaction signals.

Purpose: Advertising or marketing, including ad delivery, fraud prevention, and performance measurement.

You can manage ad personalization in your device settings and through the consent options shown in the app (where available).
